Musa Kaba - Assistant CoachMusa Kaba joined the Wildcat staff in 2006. He played his collegiate career at University of South Carolina at Spartanburg (currently Upstate University) where he led the Spartans to the 1995 Division II National Championship game. In his four years at Spartanburg, Musa was part of a team that won four straight Peach Belt Conference Titles and four straight NCAA appearances culminating with the 1995 National Championship Game his senior year. His playing career began in his home country of Liberia. Between 1985-1990 he played for First Division “Mighty Barrolle”, “Invincible Eleven” & the Liberian National team. During this time Musa began his coaching career by coaching/managing a second Division team in Monrovia, Liberia called “Great Argentina Sport Association” aka “Artina”. His coaching skills were rekindled in 2002 with the U16 St. Margaret Soccer Club in Spartanburg South Carolina. In 2004 Musa came to the Delaware Valley where he coached the Kirkwood Soccer Club Cougars (U12). Musa currently coaches the U15 Super Y team in Delaware. He holds a National “D” NSCAA coaching license and has his Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. Coach Kaba is currently enrolled in the Masters program at Wilmington. |
