Wilmington University Sponsors Take our Daughters and Sons to Work Day

April 24, 2008—New Castle, DE. Wilmington University will sponsor Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day today, April 24, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. tot 2:00 p.m. at the New Castle Campus. Activities will be provided for the children and a buffet breakfast and lunch will be provided.

This year's theme is "Making Choices for a Better World", which represents the choices people make in regards to motivation, getting a good education, whether to vote, and whether to get involved in the community. Families also have to make choices, including choices about neighbors, going green, the government, the community, the country, and the world - and families can choose to be actively engaged in their choices, or passively reserved from their choices.

By implementing this year's theme, girls and boys can begin to think critically about how the choices they make can affect the world. They will also learn how other people's choices can have a direct effect on them.

This event is held every year and last year's program was a great success. We look forward to this year being even better.
