Wilmington University's College of Technology to Honor Outstanding Students in 7th Annual Awards Ceremony
On May 11th, the College of Technology will hold their 7th Annual College of Technology (COT) Awards Ceremony. This ceremony, held every year, rewards students for their efforts and achievements throughout the school year. With twenty categories to choose from, COT students are encouraged to submit examples of their work and projects for a wide variety of awards, including “Outstanding Senior Projects,” “Best Video Game” and “Best Design Project.”
Each year, a panel of judges, comprised of College faculty as well as professionals in the field, select winners from 20 categories. All award winners receive a certificate, which can be included in their portfolios and many will receive a medal to wear during their graduation ceremony. Additionally, winners in the Senior Project field will receive a Kindle Fire.
This year's event will be hosted by award-winning radio personality Rick Jensen, host of the Rick Jensen Show on WDEL. The ceremony will be held in the Doberstein Admissions Center Auditorium, and will include a special networking session for guests.
