Student Life To Screen Award-Winning Documentary ‘Vegucated’

Vegucated will air Tuesday, June 12 at 6:00 p.m. in the Library Café on the New Castle campus.

Wilmington University’s Student Life department will presentVegucated,’ an award-winning documentary, on Tuesday, June 12 at 6:00 p.m. in the Library Café on the New Castle campus. The screening is free and open to the general public and a complimentary vegan food sampling will be served.

The documentary depicts three average New Yorkers who agree to adopt a plant-based diet for six-weeks. Declared as “part sociological experiment, part science class, and part adventure,” the documentary has won multiple awards. Join Brian, the bacon-loving bachelor, Ellen, the single mom and part time comedienne and Tesla, the college student who avoids vegetables, as their lives are changed forever one plate at a time. Vegucated showcases the journey of these three people as they “ultimately discover their paths in creating a kinder, cleaner, greener world.”
