Wilmington University College of Education Call for Third-Party Comments for NCATE Accreditation

The College of Education at Wilmington University is hosting a Spring Semester (March, 2013) accreditation review by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).  Interested parties are invited to submit third-party comments to the visiting team.  Please note that comments must address substantive matters related to the quality of professional education programs offered, and should specify the party’s relationship to the institution (i.e., graduate, present or former faculty member, employer of graduates).

Both NCATE and Wilmington University recognize that graduates, parents, schools, and community members and organizations have valuable perspectives on the quality of the programs that prepare teachers and other school personnel.  We invite interested parties to submit written testimony about the Wilmington University College of Education to:

Board of Examiners
NCATE
2010 Massachusetts Avenue NW, Suite 500

Washington
, DC   20036-1023
Or by e-mail to:
callforcomments@ncate.org

Correspondence should be submitted as soon as possible, since the NCATE Board of Examiners visits the campus in early March. The correspondence will be submitted to Wilmington University for response via NCATE’s Accreditation Information Management System (AIMS).  NCATE will not upload anonymous comments to the visitation team or to Wilmington University.
