"Your Financial Journey" is Timely Subject at Wilmington University
The Student Success Center will host a workshop to help students understand and master their finances.
The event will be held from 12:30-1:15 p.m. on February 6, 2013, in room 216 of the Doberstein Admissions Center on Wilmington University's New Castle campus. Lunch will be provided.
Guest speaker, Jeanne Griffith Leslie, MBA, CRPC, Financial Advisor at Wells Fargo, will discuss strategies designed to build wealth and manage debt. Attendees will learn investment basics, the values and principles of investment planning and budgeting.
The event is sponsored by the Student Success Center as part of their initiative to offer a wide-range of services that help students achieve academic success. The Center focuses on personalized professional tutoring, mentoring programs and other resources specifically targeted toward students' educational goals.
