Student Life Hosts Women’s History Essay Contest

It’s time to show off your writing chops!

In honor of Women’s History Month, Student Life is hosting a Women’s Writing Contest through March.

To enter the contest, students are asked to write an essay about a woman who has touched the lives of others. The featured woman could be an avid volunteer or a CEO of a fortune 500 company. The discretion is left to the writer.

The essay can be up to 750 words. Entries should be submitted to writingcontest@wilmu.edu by March 27, 2013. Participants must type essays in double-space, Times New Roman, and 12-point font.

First prize winners receive a $100 gift certificate, second prize winners receive a $75 gift certificate, and third prize winners receive a $50 gift certificate, all to the campus bookstore.

For more information, please contact Matt Chacko via phone, (302) 356-6947, or email, mathews.p.chacko@wilmu.edu.
