See Championship Wildcat Cheerleaders on ESPN This Weekend
The Wilmington University Wildcat Cheerleaders' championship-winning performances will be on TV this weekend.
In January, the squad secured its second straight Small Coed Division II National Championship at the 2013 Universal Cheerleading Association and Universal Dance Association College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship in Orlando, Florida.
ESPN will be airing the 2013 UCA/UDA College Cheerleading National Championship on the following dates and times:
- Saturday, March 2, 8:00-8:30 a.m., ESPNU
- Sunday, March 3, 1:00-1:30 p.m., ESPN2
After the team's victory, cheerleading coach Jeffrey Martino said, “Ashley (assistant coach Ashley Mundy) and I are so proud of the team and all of their hard work. We would also like to thank the administration for all of their love and support to make the experience possible."
