Third Annual WilmU Alumni Leadership Summit
The Wilmington University Alumni Relations Department hosted the third annual Alumni Leadership Summit this past month, and it was a wonderful time of planning, reconnection, and collaboration. The event was held at the picturesque Rodney Hotel in historic downtown Lewes, DE. This event was an opportunity for all of the Alumni Association’s chapter chairs to come together and set strategic goals for the upcoming year.
These high caliber leaders discussed the current state of Alumni Affairs, brainstormed innovative ideas for future growth, scheduled some exciting events, and established some new business relationships. The sessions were facilitated by Joshua Nay from the Office of Alumni Affairs for Villanova University. Mr. Nay’s instruction was informative as well as inspiring. His extensive knowledge and practical advice offered attendees a lot of food for thought and acted as a great catalyst for creativity.
The Leadership Summit kicked off with a reception where laughter and conversation set the atmosphere for a weekend of synergetic productivity, and was concluded with a dinner at Irish Eyes, where a culture of teamwork was solidified. If this weekend summit was any indication, then this is going to be a watershed year for the Wilmington University Alumni Relations Association.
