Wilmington University Offers Two New State-Required Courses for Educators
Wilmington University will begin offering one of the two new state-of-Delaware-required courses this summer for certification as a teacher of students with autism or students with severe intellectual disabilities.
The following courses will be offered:
MSE 7409 Methods of Instruction in Academic Standards & Functional Skills
· In Kent County, Delaware: Tuesdays, 4-9 p.m. Fall Block I (Sept.-Oct. 2013) at Charlton School in the Caesar Rodney School District.
· In Sussex County, Delaware: Mondays, 5:30-10:30 p.m Fall Block I (Sept.-Oct. 2013) at WU’s Georgetown site.
· In New Castle, Delaware: Tuesdays, 4-9 p.m. Fall Block II (Nov.-Dec. 2013) at the Brennen School in Newark.
MSE 7507 Competency-based Practicum
· In New Castle, Delaware: Wednesdays, 4-9 p.m. Fall Semester (Sept.-Dec. 2013) at the Brennen School in Newark.
· In Kent County, Delaware: Wednesdays, 4-9 p.m. Fall Semester (Sept.-Dec. 2013) at the Charlton School in the Caesar Rodney School District.
· In Sussex County, Delaware: Wednesdays, 4-9 p.m. Fall Semester (Sept.-Dec. 2013) at Seaford Public Library.
· In Sussex County, Delaware: Wednesdays, 4-9 p.m. Fall Semester (Sept.-Dec. 2013) at Cape Henlopen High School.
