Wilmington University Men’s Soccer To Hold Spring Open Tryout On April 11
Wilmington University men’s soccer head coach Nick Papanicolas will hold an open-tryout at the WU Athletics Complex turf field scheduled for Friday, April 11.
Any high school junior or senior, junior college transfer, or current Wilmington University student interested in trying out for the 2014 fall squad should attend this open tryout. In order to tryout, the following documents must be turned into Papanicolas by Friday, March 28.
1. Wilmington University Tryout Checklist
2. Official Wilmington University Tryout Waiver Form
3. A physical from your personal doctor within the last six months
4. Documented results of a sickle cell solubility test
The tryout will begin at 2 p.m. at the new home of the Wildcats, the state of the art turf field at the WU Athletics Complex. Registration will begin at 1:30 p.m., so please plan to arrive early to get through registration prior to the tryout. Any student attending the tryout must provide their own practice attire and shin guards are mandatory.
