Faculty Embed Streaming Videos in Blackboard Courses
The Library is pleased to offer a streaming video service known as Digital Campus by Swank Motion Pictures, Inc.® This service allows you, the faculty member, the ability to stream major motion pictures and television shows within your Blackboard courses. You can simply link to the movie and/or television show in your Blackboard course shell and have your students view at their convenience.
One nice feature available to the instructor is the option to create interactive lessons by tagging and commenting on important moments in the film.
To find out if Swank carries the rights to the film you would like to stream, please visit Swank's search page. Once you have located the film, please work with your Program Coordinator or Chair to decide which classes and sections in which to use the film. Once a film is chosen, please email the Library with details or contact Library Director Jim McCloskey for information.
