Maryland Alumni Chapter Hosts First Annual Crab Feast

On Thursday, July 24, Wilmington University’s Maryland Alumni Chapter is going to be hosting their first major event in style – Chesapeake Bay style!  That’s right, the new chapter is going to host an "almost all"-you-can-eat crab feast at the world famous Nauti-Goose Restaurant located at 200 West Cherry Street, North East, MD.  This is definitely going to be an event you will not want to miss!

This evening will include a lot of networking, laughter, and let’s not forget the region’s number one delicacy, steamed crabs!  Besides the crabs, the menu will also include corn on the cob, a deli buffet, fresh tomatoes, salad, and iced tea.  This menu will be enjoyed at a restaurant that epitomizes authentic Eastern Shore charm.  The Nauti-Goose is located right on the Upper Chesapeake Bay, at the head of the North East River.  This incredible food will only taste better, when viewing the waters from which it was harvested!

When asked about the event, Maryland Alumni Chapter Chair, Stephanie Klair said, “I am really excited about the Crab Feast because it will be a wonderful way to get the alumni from the state of Maryland connected with each other, in an atmosphere that is fun and inviting.”  The newly established alumni chapter desires to unite the many WilmU alumni that are currently living and working in Maryland.

The cost for this event is a real value at $20 per person with children under 12 eating for free.  Just be sure that your schedule will allow you attend, because the Alumni Association is not able to process refunds.

To register for this event, please head over to www.wilmu.edu/crabfeast.  We will see you there!
