Wilmington University’s Annual Scholarship Golf Classic is Right Around the Corner
Attention all Wildcats, the Wilmington University Scholarship Golf Classic will take place on Thursday, May 14th at the picturesque Deerfield Golf Course in Newark, DE. You will not want to miss this wonderful day that includes a challenging round of golf on one of Delaware’s highest rated public courses, a delicious lunch donated by Purebread, a 9th hole snack station complete with homemade kielbasa sandwiches by the Italian Kitchen, and many games and prizes throughout the day. Also, attendees will have the opportunity to meet and play a hole with the WilmU Nationally ranked golf team. And as if all of this were not enough, all golfers will receive a free pair of FootJoy golf cleats!

Not a golfer? Join us for the 19th Hole Dinner Celebration, which includes an impressive dinner buffet, an awards ceremony, and a chance to bid on some unique and valuable items at the silent auction. This celebration will be highlighted by music from the melodious “Thoughts in Common”. This band, which is in high demand throughout the tri-state region, is a truly gifted jazz and R&B ensemble that includes a horn player that is sure to knock your socks off!
