Homecoming is Right Around the Corner!
Make plans early to be a part of WilmU’s biggest annual event!
It is hard to believe, but the Wilmington University Annual Homecoming Celebration is truly not that far away! The buzz at all of the chapter meetings and the atmosphere on campus is already charged with excitement and anticipation as the Alumni Association works diligently plan what is sure to be the best Homecoming ever!
Homecoming 2015 is going to be kicked off with a Green and White 5k Spirit Run/Walk at Glasgow Park where participants can lace up their running shoes and don their Wildcat Spirit gear and compete for prizes in numerous categories. This event will be held on Sunday, September 27 from 10 AM until approximately 12 PM. You do not have to be a WilmU alum to participate!
The celebration will then continue on Friday Night, October 2 with the Homecoming Kick-off Celebration. This evening is filled with food, beverages, and the chance to meet and mingle with other Wildcat students, alumni, staff, and professionals. Laughter, conversation, and personal connections will abound.
Then on Saturday, October 3 the fun really ramps up at the Wilmington University Sports Complex, located at 1365 Pulaski Highway in Newark DE. This day will be centered around some of WilmU’s finest athletes battling it out on the soccer field and the volleyball court for pride and glory. Also, there will be many family friendly activities, great food, and even tailgating!
The week’s celebration will conclude on Sunday, October 4 with Alumni Around Town. This is an opportunity for you and your family to experience local attractions at a discounted rate. The day will be yours to explore and share your Wildcat pride!
