WilmU’s College of Technology is Looking for Qualified IST Professional to join the Adjunct Faculty

Are you an Information Systems Technology professional?  Do you have a master’s degree and five years of related professional experience?  Would you like to help shape the next generation of IST professionals?  If you answer yes to these three questions, then Wilmington University has an incredible opportunity for you!  The WilmU College of Technology is holding a Recruitment Fair for Adjunct Faculty to teach in the IST Graduate programs.

Minimum Requirements: a master’s degree and at least five years of related professional experience (see additional details below).  Apply in advance at wilmu.edu/CoTAdjunct to arrange an interview with faculty in the Information Systems Technology graduate programs during the event.  Applications will also be accepted at the event.  If you can’t attend, please complete the application for review and contact at a later date.

Current Recruitment Areas for College of Technology Adjunct Faculty:

Security and SCADA Cyber Security Certificate

Experience required in more than one aspect of SCADA systems, such as SCADA Architecture, SCADA Cyber Security, SCADA Administration, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), Human Machine Interface (HMI). Security related certification(s) such as CISSP, GSLC, and CISA is a plus. Knowledge of SQL and database management is helpful.

Information Systems Technology (IST) and Information Assurance Programs

Experience required in one or more of the following: information/technology/security systems, business intelligence, database management, information assurance/data security, telecommunications/data networking, and/or web design. Experience in project management experience (PMP), and system development life cycles, and familiarity working with methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and RAD is preferred.
