Homecoming Game Day 2015 has Something for Everyone!
On Saturday, October 3rd Wilmington University alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends of the University will be loading up their families and heading to the Athletic Complex for a full day of Wildcat fun! With so much going on, there is definitely something for everyone, regardless of age.
The family fun will begin at 11:00am with an exciting match between WilmU’s own Volleyball team squaring off against Bloomfield College. The sport’s excitement will then continue with Women’s Soccer playing Caldwell University at 12:30pm and Men’s Soccer playing Caldwell University at 3:00pm. The stands will be full of palpable energy as the best fans in the world cheer on our athletic competitors.
Don't worry if sports are not your thing… the fun does not stop there! There will also be activities including scarecrow decorating, tie-dying, face painting, crafts, a photo booth and so much more throughout the day. And let’s not forget about the food! Food trucks are going to be on hand to provide an eclectic blend of incredible edibles! This year’s food will be provided by Scoops, Kapow, WiLDWiCH, Plum Catering and more. Three free food tickets will be given to attendees, and if you are still hungry, you can always purchase more!
Parking will be at Leasure Elementary School, located at 1015 Church Road. Newark, DE. Shuttles to the festivities will begin at 8:30am and run until 6:00pm.
