Dana Eggleston to Receive the 2015 Delaware Ace Women's Network Rising Star Award

Director of Wilmington University Office of Institutional Research to be recognized as a future leader in higher education.

Wilmington University Director of Institutional Research, Dana Eggleston, will receive the Delaware ACE Women’s Network’s (DAWN) Rising Star Award at the DAWN annual fall awards dinner on October 22, 2015 at Widener University Delaware Law School Barrister’s Club in Wilmington, Delaware.

Eggleston has worked at the University for the last 12 years, all within the Office of Institutional Research. She started as a data specialist, progressing up to her current position as director. Eggleston is an adjunct faculty member in the College of Business teaching micro- and macro-economics. She is also a member of her department’s regional and national associations and is involved with many committees throughout the University community. Eggleston has a strong passion for helping children and is both a volunteer and board member of the Greater Wilmington Boys and Girls Clubs.

“This award means so much to me,” said Eggleston. “It's an honor to be recognized as a rising star from the Delaware ACE Women’s Network. I’m proud to represent Wilmington University and thankful to be involved with an organization that recognizes and supports women in higher education. Wilmington University has provided me with wonderful opportunities over the last 12 years. I work for and with the most influential women I have ever met and they motivate me to be the best I can be.”

"The Rising Star Award is presented to women who demonstrate leadership qualities and have been recognized as future leaders in higher education," said Audrey Parajon, Wilmington University College of Business faculty member and former DAWN president. "This award is a great honor because it acknowledges the contributions these women have made so far, as well as their greater potential to lead and become role models for other women in higher education."

The Delaware ACE Women’s Network (DAWN), is dedicated to identifying, developing, advancing and supporting women in higher education. For more information regarding DAWN, please visit: www.delawareacewomensnetwork.org.
