Make a Connection at Wilmington University's Spring Career Fair

Two-day event matches regional recruiters with student specialties

Double-check your resume and dress for the job you want: Wilmington University is hosting a specialized spring career fair on March 22 and 23.

The two-day event has been organized to highlight each of the university's colleges, allowing jobseekers to network with potential employers who have an eye on their field of study.

The event is scheduled to take place from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days in the Pratt Student Center on the New Castle campus, 320 N. DuPont Highway. It is free to attend and open to Wilmington University's students, alumni and the surrounding community.

Representatives from regional companies and organizations will meet with students from the Colleges of Business, Arts and Sciences and Technology on Wednesday, March 22. The Colleges of Education, Health Professions and Social and Behavioral Science will be the focus on Thursday, March 23.

"Our goal in hosting these important career fairs is to provide opportunity for our students and alumni to meet and potentially find a match with employers who are seeking qualified students from appropriate majors," said Dr. Regina Allen-Sharpe, Senior Director, Career Services for the University. "Our hope is that they will attend and learn of multiple openings that will lead them to a great new job."
