Wilmington University Will Hold Student Art Exhibit and Open House
On Friday March 11, Wilmington University’s College of Technology and the College of Arts and Sciences will host their annual Student Art Exhibit and Open House. Extended to the public, this free reception will take place at the New Castle campus in the People's Building from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The art exhibit will run from March 11 to May 6.
Artwork from the College of Arts and Sciences will be showcased on the second floor of the Peoples Building and will include many different mediums, such as charcoal, line, dot, colored pencil, and paints. On the ground floor, the University's College of Technology will be displaying artwork handpicked by College of Technology instructors, including studies in photography, graphic design, and other technology-related work.
On the ground floor, in room PEO-025, students from the College of Technology's Game Design and Development program will be conducting live demonstrations of games they have created for their coursework. Guests are invited to view the creative and innovative work done by these students in this groundbreaking program.The College of Technology will also be providing information on their many upcoming events, including this year's College of Technology awards as well as the latest Association of Infromation Technology Professionals Meeting.
Instructors from the College of Technology and the College of Arts and Science will be on hand to answer questions. Live music will be provided by a special guest and refreshments will be served.
