Wilmington University has Delaware's Lowest Student Loan Debt
Website Lendedu.com ranks WilmU #1 in the state for "helping students afford and attend college with as little debt as possible."
Wilmington University was recently ranked as Delaware's #1 College for Lowest Student Loan Debt at Graduation by lendedu.com, a popular college research website.
According to the website, lendedu.com is a " ... marketplace for student loans and student loan refinance" that "allows users to compare up to 12 different student loan lenders and also provides low cost student loans, student loan refinancing and loan consolidation along with handy student loan tools and other services.
"Wilmington University is committed to offering our students a relevant and affordable education," noted Dr. Erin J. DiMarco, Senior Vice President. "We believe that students should be encouraged to only borrow what they absolutely need, and that they should understand all of the implications of the debt they incur. The university's Financial Aid Office develops and carefully monitors conservative aid budgets for our students. And we don't stop there: all of our graduates also receive exit counseling to ensure that they understand repayment regulations and all of the options available to them. We are very pleased that our efforts have been so successful."
