Wilmington University Hosting Spring Career Fairs

Students from WilmU's academic colleges have access to the area's hiring employers

Wilmington University Career Services is hosting its annual Spring Career Fairs for students and community members from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day on April 18 through April 19. The fairs will be held in the Pratt Student Center on the New Castle campus.

Admission is free and open to the public. No pre-registration is required. All are welcome to attend both days.

“Our goal is to connect qualified students to employers who are searching for specific majors and skill sets,” said Dr. Regina Allen-Sharpe, Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs. “Our students should be well dressed and fully prepared, understanding that they will have more time to spend with employers who are focused on their majors.”

The Spring Career Fairs will open with a boutique style schedule that will provide students with interview and discussion opportunities based on their academic majors. Employers will be on campus each day to talk with and potentially hire students based on their degrees and career aspirations.

Wednesday, April 18

Hiring employers will be on hand to meet and interview students from the College of Business and the College of Technology.

Thursday, April 19

Employers will be on campus to interview and possibly hire students in programs in the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, College of Education and the College of Health Professions.
