Student Success Center offers a wide range of services to help you achieve academic success! We offer tutoring and workshops throughout the year. All of our services are FREE so take advantage of the help as much as needed. Our tutors are professionals and most are adjunct instructors at the University. We also supplement our professional staff with peer tutors. Face-to-Face tutoring is available TO ALL UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS at several of our campuses. No appointments are necessary. Online tutoring is available to ALL students, undergraduate and graduate. To check our current tutoring schedules - go to the main WU page, click current students, under the Student Success Center, click tutoring. From there you will have 3 choices, undergraduate, graduate and online tutoring. Select whichever applies. Our current schedules will be listed as well as instructions on how to log into online tutoring. Our undergraduate tutoring schedules are listed by location. Online tutoring is an excellent resource for students and help is available 24/7. The video tutorial is helpful regarding how best to login and navigate the Smarthinking site. Information regarding Wilmington University's bookstore can be found under "Academics" on Wilmington University's homepage. At the top there are 4 different tabs for information - textbooks, merchandise, frequently asked questions and technology resources. Books and merchandise may be purchased in person or online. If you'd like to visit the bookstore in person, click store hours to find out the hours for each store. Please purchase your textbooks at the site that you are attending except for Brandywine and Middletown. The latter can be purchased at the NC, WGC and Online stores. Most textbooks will be available approximately two weeks before the start of classes. Stores accept the following methods of payment: cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AmEx, Financial Aid with valid photo ID, and Wilmington University issued gift cards. Note - If paying by Financial Aid, you must put in your full WU student ID number. Online orders may be paid by credit card, or financial aid with a valid wildcats email address and WU student ID number. To buy textbooks online, click textbooks. Carefully read the information about the campus store and click "I accept" to order books. The campus store offers new and used textbooks, as well as electronic books, and textbook rentals. To purchase textbooks, scroll to the bottom of the page and click purchase textbooks. From there select campus/term and proceed with each subsequent field. You may also choose to purchase E-books. E-books offer the advantage of lower cost and the flexibility of being able to view your textbook on almost any computer that is connected to the internet.
