Dave Bugda - Head Coach

Dave Bugda enters his fourth season as the Head Coach of the Women's Lacrosse Team at Wilmington University. Coach Bugda, started the women's lacrosse program in the spring of 2004, and guided the team during their innaugural season last year. The ‘Cats finished the year with an impressive 9-3 record, which included wins over Division II St. Thomas Aquinas College, and Division III powers Arcadia University and Bridgewater College.

Coach Bugda is originally from Baltimore but has resided for the past 18 years in Abingdon, Maryland with his wife, Donna and two daughters, Lindsay and Colby.

Bugda attended both the Community College of Baltimore and Essex Community College where he majored in Criminal Justice.

In addition to his lacrosse duties, Bugda is also in his second season as the Women's Head Soccer Coach, after taking over the program in November 2005.

He is a member of the US Lacrosse Association, National Coaches Association of America and National Federation of High School Coaches.
