Josh Ruggiero - Assistant Coach

Josh Ruggiero begins his first season as an assistant coach of the women's lacrosse team. A graduate of Salesianum High School, Ruggiero played for two seasons as a goalkeeper for the men’s soccer team at Wilmington. He was the starting keeper for the Wildcats’ 2003 squad that captured the CACC regular season championship. Ruggiero is a former All-CACC selection, having posted an astounding 0.86 goals against average in 2003, followed by a 1.39 average in 2004.

“In having Josh accept this position, we get another well-rounded, focused, and hard working coach”, stated Coach Bugda. “Josh has accomplished a great deal in his coaching career.” His chief responsibilities will be working with the goalkeepers and defense.
