E-Newsletter.
The purpose of this letter is to foster a spirit of loyalty and participation in alumni activities and events. You will be updated on a monthly basis of the many opportunities available to you as a WilmU Alumnus. Alumni commitment to become active in the Association is to promote fellowship and networking among graduates, current students, and the community. Alumni Association participation will also provide professional development opportunities for you. Alumni input and suggestions are highly valued for the success of this project.
Alumni Chapters
Did you know there is a Chapter near you? Stop by for one of the monthly meetings – You will want to become active when you are made aware of the exciting activities and events that are being planned. The Alumni Chapters look forward to hearing new ideas from you.
New Facility
A new Athletic Complex is due to open soon on Rt. 40 Pulaski Highway. You have to see this to believe it, and your first chance to tour the new facility will take place during the 2012 Alumni Homecoming Weekend!
Homecoming Weekend
September 14, 15, 16, 2012 – This weekend will have several activities that will be fun for everyone. Friday night begins with an “Alumni Networking Happy Hour” at the University Whist Club. Saturday is the “Alumni Homecoming Celebration” that will showcase the new Athletic Facility with live music, food, and an opportunity to reconnect with alumni, faculty, and staff.
Scholarship and Awards Ceremony
Over 200 scholarships were awarded for the 2012-2013 academic year. Scholarship recipients expressed sincere thanks for the opportunity to make the dream of attending Wilmington University come true.
