Leadership for the Healthcare Professional

This course will focus on the development of leadership skills for health services professional practice. The course will explore the leadership role and competencies critical for success. Strategic thinking, the culture of professionalism, interprofessional collaborative behavior, and intercultural competence as well as patient and family centered leadership concepts will be discussed.Prerequisite(s): HSC Major Pre-Requisite- HSC 303 and 60 lower level credits
