Wilmington University Student Named Shore Bank's Senior VP and Director of Marketing
Congratulations are in order for current student Jean H. Sewell for her appointment to senior vice president and director of marketing of Shore Bank.
Duties in her new position include overall leadership, planning and management of strategic marketing and promotional efforts for the bank. Jean will also take responsibility for the Treasury Management product development, training and marketing.
Jean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Salisbury University in Maryland and is currently pursuing a Master’s of Business Administration from Wilmington University.
Jean’s previous positions during her 30 year career include CFO and executive vice president of the National Bank of Cambridge in Cambridge, MD; senior vice president and regional manager at PNC Bank in Fruitland, Maryland, and senior vice president and marketing director at Mercantile Peninsula Bank.
Jean dedicates time to her community by serving on the board of directors of many community-based organizations. Among her many honors, Jean has received the Financial Education Award from Maryland Bankers Association and Distinguished Community Service Recognition from Wilcomico Partnership for Families and Children.
