Wilmington University College of Technology to Hold Cyber Security Colloquium

The College of Technology invites students and their guests to attend a colloquium on cyber security and career opportunities in the Doberstein Admission Center Auditorium on February 12, 2013. The event will begin at 5:30 and will feature a special presentation by a speaker from the FBI.

Cyber security has become vital in our everyday lives as we rely on a vast array of networks to communicate, travel, power our homes, transact businesses, manage the economy and provide government services. With network security breaches, antagonistic hacking and other forms of cyber crimes becoming more common than ever before, computer network security (CNS) and protective cyber technologies are more in demand.

The colloquium is sponsored by the University's CNS program and Mark Hufe, director of cyber security education.

For more information contact Mark Hufe at mark.j.hufe@wilmu.edu or call (302) 356-6869.
