Criminal Justice Career Panels Presented by Wilmington University and Burlington County College March 23

You have questions about criminal justice careers ... these panelists have answers.

The College of Social and Behavioral Sciences Criminal Justice Programs at Wilmington University and Burlington County College will host two criminal justice career panels at Burlington County College in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey on Monday, March 23.

The first panel will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a general information session from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The second panel will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. All sessions will take place in room 115 at the Briggs Road Center, 1000 Briggs Road in Mount Laurel.

The criminal justice panels and information session are free and open to the public.

“Students often find it difficult to connect what's learned in the classroom with how to apply that knowledge in the real world of criminal justice jobs," said Dr. Sherry Wilson, Assistant Chair, New Jersey Programs. "The panelists will answer attendees' questions as well as share their experiences regarding the skills needed to land a criminal justice job or enhance existing careers. This kind of insider information is key to a successful job search in a highly competitive market and can help those who may be considering an advanced degree for a promotion or career change."

For more information about the criminal justice programs at Burlington County College and the career panel event, contact Dr. Alan Hart at (609) 894-9311, extension 1554.
