Wilmington University Wildcats will "Prowl" Lewes April 10 - 11

The second annual Wildcat Prowl brings opportunity to explore, experience and enjoy the museums and shops of historic Lewes.

Wilmington University Alumni Association Kent and Sussex County Chapter will host the 2nd Annual Wildcat Prowl in the historic City of Lewes, Delaware, April 10 to 11. 

Pre-registration is advised for this popular event.             

Following on the impressive success of its debut in 2014, this year's Prowl Weekend will kick off on Friday, April 10, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m, at the Zwaanendael Museum in Lewes. Nancy Alexander, director of the Rehoboth Historical Society, will give a lecture on the Role of Rehoboth Beach during World War II.

The cost of the lecture is $5 per person and includes a wine and cheese reception. The community is invited to attend.

On Saturday, April 11, the Prowl will run from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The cost is $20 per person. On-site registration for Saturday’s events will begin at 9:30 a.m. also at the Zwaanendael Museum.

The community is invited to bring the family and join in the fun as "weekend Wildcats," meeting new friends and enjoying Lewes' annual Tulip Festival while shopping and sightseeing. 

All Prowl participants will receive a Prowl "Passport" listing participating museums and shops in the City of Lewes. Participating merchants like Kid’s KetchR&L LiquorsJewelry Exchange of Delaware or A Taste of Italy offer "Prowl-only" discounts and special features. Attendees are encouraged to visit all of the museums and businesses at their own pace throughout the day. 

The Prowl will conclude at Irish Eyes Pub & Restaurant at 3:00 PM. Prowlers are invited to recap and round out the weekend with a beverage and light snacks before heading to dinner or home.
