Wilmington University 2015 "Proud Donor" Campaign Raises Over $49,300 Toward Student Scholarships
Employees celebrate record scholarship support for University students with prizes and a cupcake social.
The 4th Annual Cupcake Social marked the successful end of the 2015 Wilmington University “Proud Donor” campaign on February 13 at the University's New Castle, Wilson Graduate Center, Georgetown, Dover and New Jersey locations. University faculty and staff supported the month-long donation drive with their donations toward student scholarships.
The campaign raised $49,318.16 thanks to the donations of 257 employees to the Annual Fund. The month's activities included 29 raffles, two grand prize raffles and five prizes awarded per University location. Five scholarship recipients were in attendance to thank the donors and assist with raffle drawings at the New Castle site.
