Wilmington University’s Annual Homecoming Celebration is a Family Affair
Take a look at what’s in store during this spirited week of Wildcat celebration.
The Wilmington University Alumni Association is anxiously looking forward to Homecoming 2015. This event promises to be the best Homecoming yet, and if you have been a part of Homecoming in the past, you know just how exciting it is going to be! This year we have moved from a weekend of celebration to an entire week of Wildcat Spirit.
The festivities will kick off with the annual Green and White Spirit 5K Run/Walk where participants will get a chance to engage in a healthy activity while displaying their Wildcat pride for the whole world to see. This is going to an event for the entire family, even baby strollers and pets are welcome to join in the fun.
The party will then continue with Wildcat Pride Week, where you will be able to take part in things like a car show, an ice cream social, and even a lip syncing/karaoke night! On Friday Night WilmU will be hosting a Paint the Night Green and White networking event with engaging conversations, connections, and an inspiring guest speaker. This night will be held at the iconic World Café Live at the Queen in Wilmington.
The highlight of the week is sure to be Game Day! This is going to be a chance for alumni, faculty, staff, students and families to gather at the Sports Complex to cheer on our soccer and volleyball teams! This all-day event will have something for everyone! There will be activities for the kids, great food, tailgating, and of course sports!
