Lace Up for This Year’s 2nd Annual Green and White 5k Spirit Run/Walk
On Sunday, September 27, 2015 runners and walkers will be warming up and stretching as they prepare to show their Wildcat Spirit at Glasgow Park on Route 40 in Newark.
Participants are encouraged to show their enthusiasm by dressing up in green and white or forming a team to run/walk with pride! Prizes will be awarded after the race for “Most Spirited Male and Female”, “Most Spirited Team”, and "Most Spirited Baby Stroller", in addition to age group and overall fastest times. Overall male and female winners will receive a long-sleeved running jacket and Delaware Running Store gift certificates will be given to all age group winners. A post-race celebration will take place with healthy snacks, beverages, and plenty of laughs.
Registration is from 9:00am until 9:45am and the race will begin at 10am. This is going to be a fun time for the whole family!
Free parking is available at two locations at Glasgow Park. Registration will be near the dog park, under the Wilmington University tents.
Cost for the event is $15 and includes an event-branded tech shirt.
