CCNE to Conduct Accreditation Visit at the College of Health Professions at Wilmington University

In January 2015, the Wilmington University College of Health Professions will seek initial accreditation of the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Post Master’s Advanced Practice Certificate programs from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). CCNE, which is a national nursing accrediting organization and recognized by the US Secretary of Education, will perform an onsite evaluation of the DNP program and Post Master’s Certificate programs on January 21-23, 2015. As members of the College’s constituency and community of interest, we invite you to submit comments to CCNE at the address provided below.

We hope you will take this opportunity to comment on the College’s development and implementation of the DNP and Post-Master’s Certificates related to accreditation standards (see http://www.aacn.nche.edu/ccne-accreditation). During the review of the program, the evaluation team considers third party comments that relate to the accreditation standards. CCNE does not share these comments with the organization. Only written and signed third-party comments will be accepted by CCNE. For comments to be considered they should be received by December 22, 2014.
