Blackboard 9.1 Upgrade Coming This Summer Semester

Blackboard is Wilmington University’s premier platform for delivering learning content, engaging online learners, and measuring their performance in hybrid and online courses. At the start of the summer semester of 2011, we upgraded the Blackboard system to version 9.1. Click here to view the list of Blackboard 9.1 known issues.

Faculty & Staff may click here to Register for a Blackboard 9.1 Training Workshop

What this upgrade means is an improved interface (click less) and powerful new tools (do more) within Blackboard. To help prepare faculty, students, and staff we have created these videos which have a quick overview of the new features of Blackboard 9.1.

Blackboard 9.1 works best in the Firefox version 3.6

Firefox

If you are using Explorer, Safari, Chrome, or Firefox 4.0, you should install Firefox version 3.6. Click here to read more about installing Firefox version 3.6.

Blackboard will work in other browsers but a few features may not function properly. We want you to have the best experience possible and have asked Blackboard to fix the issues as quickly as possible.
