Dr. Sebach is the DNP Program Chair within the College of Health Professions at Wilmington University. He teaches DNP project courses as well as graduate courses within the MSN Nurse Practitioner program. Dr. Sebach earned a BS in Nursing, MS in Nursing Education, Post-Masters Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and Doctor of Nursing Practice from Salisbury University. He earned a second Post-Masters Certificate as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from Saint Louis University and a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from Columbia Southern University. Additionally, Dr. Sebach is a Six Sigma Green Belt and is nationally board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP & ANCC), Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ANCC), Certified Emergency Nurse (BCEN), and Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (BCEN).

His research interests include: advanced practice nursing, preoperative medicine, hospitalist medicine, and emergency medicine. Dr. Sebach’s doctoral research project was titled, “development of a nurse practitioner managed preoperative evaluation clinic within a multi-specialty orthopedic practice.” He maintains an active clinical practice as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner at Peninsula Regional Medical Center and performing preoperative medical evaluations at Peninsula Orthopedic Associates, P.A., both in Salisbury, Maryland.

Dr. Sebach is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International and has studied abroad in Africa and China. He regularly presents at national conferences related to his work as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Finally, Dr. Sebach is a peer reviewer for the Journal for Nurse Practitioners and for the Journal of Doctoral Nursing Practice.
