Biography

Niecy’s previous careers include human resources, retail management, and social services. She began her career in education with Delaware Technical and Community College as a Program Developer for Corporate and Community Programs and adjunct instructor in the Computer Information Systems (CIS) program.

Niecy began her adjunct instruction with Wilmington University in 2004 and accepted a full-time position in 2006. She currently teaches English Composition, Academic Writing, Advanced Communication Skills, and Critical Thinking. As the Regional Chair for the College of Arts and Sciences, Niecy oversees the Associate’s Degree in General Studies, the Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies, and the GSB Completion Degree. Niecy also serves on the Legal Studies Advisory Board and is pursuing a Doctorate in Higher Education and Adult Learning through Walden University.
