Employee Subscriber Discounts for Verizon Wireless

Wilmington University employees with personal Verizon cell phone accounts and those who may be planning to acquire a personal Verizon cell phone are eligible for significant savings over regular retail rate plans.

Current Verizon customers

If you currently have a personal Verizon account, you can take advantage of these savings NOW:

• save 17% on your monthly access fees*
• save 25% on accessories**
• save on new phones by receiving the College discount pricing

* On plans of $35 a month or higher (secondary lines on Family Share plans are not eligible for the monthly access fee discount. They ARE eligible for the accessory discount).

** excluding prepackaged bundle packs (car charger case headset already reduced)

*** If not activated through our major account representative, and this is attempted at a Verizon retail store, it is the employee’s responsibility to contact Verizon customer service to have the discount added. For a smooth transaction, it is recommended that all business be done directly through the University's major accounts representative.

To receive these savings, you must register to become an ‘Employee Subscriber’. By doing this, your present contract will not be affected in any way (unless you upgrade equipment or change to a promotional plan). Here’s how to register:

• Go to www.verizonwireless.com/getdiscounts
• Enter your University '@wilmu.edu' email address, click ‘Check For Discounts’
• follow the prompts
• If you do not have a University email address, proof of employment must be submitted via a copy of your business card or pay stub. Fax this info to our account representative (contact info below).

New Verizon customers

If you want to acquire a personal Verizon cell phone account, contact our major accounts rep from your University e-mail address or by phone (contact info below). Tell him you would like to open an employee account. He will take care of the entire setup and make sure you receive all the ‘Employee Subscriber’ discounts.

To ensure you receive the correct discounts, it is recommended you place all orders directly with our major accounts rep. A credit card will be needed to complete your order. Wilmington University will not be invoiced for any ‘Employee Subscriber’ transactions. Our major account rep is Tommy Helman:
