Commencement Ceremony Details

On behalf of Wilmington University, we extend our sincere best wishes to the graduates and to all who have supported you in your accomplishments. We look forward to your attendance at the Commencement ceremony, when we will recognize the achievements of the students who have petitioned for a degree.

Wilmington University holds seven Commencement ceremonies each year. Our Spring Commencements are held at the Chase Center on the Riverfront and at the Delaware Technical & Community College located in Georgetown, DE.

The May 2016 Commencement Ceremonies will be held in Wilmington, DE at the Chase Center on the Riverfront on Sunday, May 22, 2016.

The May 2016 Commencement Ceremony in Georgetown will be held at Delaware Technical & Community College on Wednesday, May 18, 2016. The ceremony will begin with a procession at 6:00pm.

BOTH LOCATIONS

Each graduate will be mailed a pre-determined number of guest tickets for their ceremony. Graduating students who are seeking extra tickets or have extra tickets to give can connect through our WilmU Graduation Ticket Exchange Facebook page.

Graduates are requested to arrive at their ceremony one hour prior to the procession. Students must sign in at Student Check-In and then proceed to the Student Robing area, where further instructions will be given.
