Wilmington University Student Releases Book of Poetry

Regina Williams Wrote “Shadows of Wisdom, Whispers of Love”

Regina Williams of Milford, Del., is happy to say she has finally penned her first book of poetry. The U.S. Navy veteran and Wilmington University student describes ‘Shadows of Wisdom, Whispers of Love’, as “a collection of poetry about love and life.”The book was published through Publish America and is available for purchase at more than 20 online bookstores, most notably Barnes and Noble and Amazon.

Poems in the book range from joyful and energetic to emotional and jarring. Designed to discuss the different temperaments of life, Williams says she hopes the book will “enlighten and inspire its readers,”

Born in Lakewood, N.J., Williams earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Wilmington University. She graduated with a 3.54 grade point average and earned a place in the Delta Epsilon Rho Honor Society. In 2009 Williams enrolled in the University again to obtain a Master of Science in Administration of Justice degree with a concentration in Homeland Security. She works as an intern in the office of Senator Tom Carper.

Williams, who also enjoys creating jewelry and spending time with her three children, has completed her second work of poetry and plans to publish it soon.
