Your Future, with Extra Cheese: Career Advice and a Slice
Wilmington University career event includes special guest
Wilmington University Career Services continues its Career Advice and a Slice series this month with a special guest: Dr. Maria Hess, editor-in-chief of Delaware Today magazine.
The event will be held from 1:30-2:30 p.m. January 23, 2013, in the new Student Center in the Pratt Building on the New Castle campus. Refreshments – including pizza – will be served.
Hess will speak about her career path and offer insight into her industry.
In addition to Delaware Today, Hess is also the editor of Delaware Bride, The Ultimate Guide to Delaware and 302 Health publications. Hess is an adjunct professor at WilmU and holds graduate and doctorate degrees from Wilmington University. Hess received the 2012 Communicator of Achievement award from the Delaware Press Association late last year. The annual award is given for a lifetime of achievement in the communications profession, recognizing exemplary service to the community and to humanity.
