Wilmington University Expands Business Offerings at New Jersey Locations

Wilmington University has announced new course options for its three New Jersey locations, broadening the range of available programs and providing greater scheduling flexibility to undergraduate students in the College of Business.

Starting in 2013 Fall Block I, the University’s Burlington County College site in Mount Laurel will offer daytime hybrid courses in Organizational Behavior and Intro to E-Commerce. In Fall Block II, Human Resources Management and Organizational Development will be offered in morning and afternoon hybrid formats.

Taught by expert Wilmington University faculty, these new business courses will combine face-to-face learning with the convenience of online learning to give students added flexibility.

At the McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Education Center (JB-MDL) joint military base in New Jersey, new offerings include hybrid and face-to-face evening courses starting in Spring Block I in Supervisory Management, Organizational Behavior, Corporate Finance and Business Ethics.

Cumberland County College has expanded its daytime offerings and is planning to add Saturday hybrid courses for students’ convenience. Those courses will begin in Fall Block 1.

Each expansion is a response to specific needs for that site and the students it serves, said Dr. Robin Weinstein, Assistant Professor, who is in charge of business programs in the New Jersey sites. The JB-MDL offerings, for example, highlight the University’s desire to offer quality, affordable and flexible education to its military servicemen and women.

"Wilmington University is committed to offering a quality education at an affordable price with the flexibility needed for today's student,” said Dr. Don Durandetta, Dean of the College of Business. “Our College of Business programs in New Jersey provide students with a range time and location options so that students can advance their careers in a manner that works best for them. Students will now be able to complete their business degree during the day or in the evening, while offering greater flexibility and regular interaction with instructors who are leaders in the business community."
