Incoming Weather Postpones Saturday’s CACC Basketball Doubleheader at Bloomfield
The incoming inclement weather schedule for the entire northeast has put a damper on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference basketball schedule, including Saturday’s doubleheader featuring Wilmington at Bloomfield. The men’s and women’s doubleheader has been postponed.
The games will now be played on Thursday, February 21 starting at 6 and 8 p.m. The women are still scheduled to start the doubleheader, followed by the men at approximately 8 p.m. The game will still be played at Bloomfield in Bloomfield Gymnasium.
The Lady Deacons will move their annual Think Pink event honoring the Kay Yow Cancer Fund to the game on February 21, with all proceeds of the night's action being donated to the Fund. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the contest to honor the event.
The Wildcats will now look forward to its next contest, as both teams head to Philadelphia University for another CACC doubleheader on Tuesday, February 12, starting at 6 p.m.
