Students Benefit from Recent Library Updates

Wilmington University’s Robert C. and Dorothy M. Peoples Library has updated its databases and resources to bring more information opportunities to students.

Updates to the library include new print and eBooks, access to LexisNexis (for legal studies students), and multiple new databases for academic reference research.

The library continues to add to a growing journal and eBook collection of more than 85,000 titles covering many topics, including nursing, medicine, technology, computer science, health and fitness, education, business, political science and psychology.

To accommodate these new technologies, resources and platforms as they emerge, the library regularly creates new services to help students and faculty access needed resources efficiently. Today, many of the library’s online resources can be accessed through the students’ laptop, tablet or smartphone.

“The goal of the library will remain: give students the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue their dreams, including entering a profession upon graduation. We in the Library are committed to helping students in this pursuit and doing what it takes to help them learn,” said Jim McCloskey, Library Director.
