Wilmington University Georgetown to Hold Student Information Night
Prospective, Current and Returning Students Welcomed
Wilmington University in Georgetown will hold a Student Information Night on Monday, March 16 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Lecture Hall room 529. The event, which is open to prospective, current and returning students, will give students the opportunity to meet academic advisors, financial aid officers, program coordinators, faculty and staff. Wilmington University faculty and staff will also showcase Web Campus, the University’s online student services, and Blackboard, the University’s online learning management system.
The University’s Georgetown site opened in July 1980 and has been providing higher education options to Sussex county residents ever since. Located in the William A. Carter Partnership Center on Delaware Technical and Community College’s Owens Campus, Wilmington University Georgetown offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees. The University provides day, weekend, evening, and online classes, which give busy professionals the chance to complete their degrees while maintaining full time employment.
