WU Staff joining the Alumni Ranks
This year’s 2013 commencement included 13 full-time Wilmington University employees. The Alumni Relations Department invited this newest group of Alumni members to lunch in their honor at the Wilson Graduate Center on Thursday, June 13 where they were presented with custom frames to display their new and hard-earned credential.
Following lunch, Stefanie Whitby, Senior Director of Alumni Relations, presented the frames to each member, then asked them to speak for a few minutes about what the WU degree meant to them. Each alumnus that was present at the lunch shared his or her own personal and inspiring story, which we will be sharing with you over the next year.
