Tour the Emerald Isle with Wilmington University

A Unique Study Abroad Journey for WilmU Students and Alumni

Have you ever wanted to experience wonders of the Irish countryside? Have you ever wanted to take in the rich European history of Dublin, Belfast, or Galway? Have you ever wanted to taste the Irish ales and stouts directly from the tap in a century-old pub? Have you ever wanted to earn college credit while you explore a foreign land? If so, we have the opportunity for you!

Wilmington University’s College of Social and Behavioral Sciences is proud to sponsor a study abroad trip to Ireland, unlike any other. This trip, led by Dr. Thomas Cupples, has been custom tailored to the needs and interests of our students and alumni. According to the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, this trip is a multi-discipline travel program with a focus on Criminal Justice that is designed to provide the opportunity for the students of all majors to experience together the culture of Ireland (Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland) and observe the outward manifestations of the signs, symbols, and traditions of the country that make it unique.

In addition to the popular attractions of Irish travel, WilmU’s students and alumni will be treated to experiences that are not typically open to the public, and guides that have a vast amount of knowledge and familiarity in the region will lead the entire experience. This will be the ninth journey that Dr. Cupples has led to Ireland for the University, so he is well prepared to facilitate a trip that you will never forget.

The dates for this Irish adventure are May 27–June 06, 2014, but a deposit is due immediately to reserve your space.  The cost for the trip is $2988 (double occupancy) and breaks down as follows:

1st Deposit -  $689 due immediately to reserve space

2nd Deposit - $500 due January 31, 2014

Final Payment – Balance due on or prior to March 17, 2014
