Wilmington University College Of Business is Reaffirmed for IACBE Accreditation

The University's DBA program is now accredited by both Middles States and IACBE.

The Board of Commissioners of the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) announced at its December, 2015, meeting that Wilmington University was granted reaffirmation of accreditation of all business and management programs offered through its College of Business.

The Wilmington University College of Business has demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement, excellence in business education and advancing academic quality in its business programs and operations.

The College of Business undertook a rigorous self-evaluation and comprehensive, independent peer review, the result of which demonstrated its complete compliance with IACBE's Accreditation Principals:

Outcome Assessment Faculty

Strategic Planning Scholarly and Professional Activities

Curriculum Internal and External Relationships

Resources International Business Education

Educational Innovation

"This marks the first time that the Wilmington University doctoral program in business administration (DBA) is also accredited by the IACBE," said Dr. Robert Resigno, Director, DBA Program in the graduate College of Business. "The Doctor of Business Administration is a practitioner’s degree that develops well-integrated skills that are immediately applicable in business. While the program has been fully accredited by the Middle State Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), being accredited by the international body for higher business education is a solid achievement for our program, our College and our University."
