Homecoming 2017 was a HUGE Success!
On Saturday, October 7, 2017, hundreds of Wilmington University students, staff, faculty, and friends of the University gathered at the WilmU Athletic Complex to celebrate the Wildcat Spirit.
The day was packed with music, food, family friendly activities, tailgating... and of course excellent college sports!
The Women's Volleyball team secured a nail-biting victory after trailing Bloomfield College two sets to zero. The fearless Lady Wildcats came back and took the last three sets to clinch the win.
The Women's Soccer Team soundly defeated Dominican 6-0 and the Men's Soccer Team also defeated Dominican 2-1, to give the Wilmington University's fans a perfect day of athletic pride.
Wilmington University would like to thank everyone who made this day possible. The many volunteers made the event a success, and all of those that attended, made the day unforgettable. If you happened to miss Homecoming 2017, be sure to mark you calendars early so you don't miss it next year!
